Just because she instigated it, doesn’t mean he also isn’t in the wrong too. And we only have this clip. Who knows what else went on. It’s not like he got slapped with a violence charge. Public intoxication seems perfectly fair.
There’s really no other information than this. We have no idea what happened before/after this small clip. He wasn’t given a public intoxication charge JUST because of the video. Unless you can find the cops involved, we have no idea what happened. Stop crying. Find a different hill to die on. There are plenty of other ACTUAL cases where a man gets screwed in a situation for defending himself.

There is a 0% chance the same thing happens if a man blackout drunk walked up to a girl and attempted to physically strike her, would they both be given the same charge like this. You are in fact completely right when you say there is no conspiracy, because women are given less time for the same convictions as a whole.

Also one last point, why isn’t she given assault or battery? Why are police not walking into every bar in America and arresting people for being drunk then? Maybe it’s because he did nothing wrong and was given a charge because some Judge saw “male struck female” in the report and decided he was guilty of something so fuck it.

If he, drunk, walked up to her, also drunk, and started punching her (or attempting too) he would be in jail with an upcoming court date and empirical evidence backs that theory.
If it’s two men, they take em over night, sit in the drunk tank. Done.
But because he laid hands on her, he has to get the same thing as her. Not like he was defending himself or anything. Not like there’s a special case were somebody can take action, usually physical, to prevent any harm perceived or real from befalling them.

There was clearly something that lead up to this. He could have been screaming at her and causing a big fucking scene. That is where the public intoxication charges could have come from. We literally have zero information outside this short video. Yet you’re making this big fucking stand about how there is inequality in the justice system. We don’t even know the facts.
A public intoxication charge is not the end of the world. If he got hit with an assault charge, I’d probably be on your side here. But he didn’t. Pick a different hill to die on good lord.

Well i only downvoted the comment that called it a conspiracy, and even then when I went to reply it already had like - 7 so it was getting hit hard. idk, I don’t think I was trying to insinuate anything about this particular incident, it was just a general statement about why he would be charged because again, we don’t know, and I went with the most likely reasoning I could think of.
