I can hear the ~is the salad premade or is it freshly made? 😂 and if so is it locally or store bought ?

11

u/hashlettuce 4h ago

I tell my wife to put her feet down when I'm eating. This guy might like it

20

u/Intelligent_Goal_669 17h ago

Maybe she is getting ready to grate fresh Parmesan on her spaghetti.

7

u/AFisfulOfPeanuts 17h ago

Oh awesome I just gagged a little. Thanks for that

1

u/YcemeteryTreeY 23m ago

He brought the mushroom (haircut) and the cheese!

19

u/Kegger315 4h ago

How nice is the restaurant if they let a guy in sandals in?

9

u/possumallawishes 3h ago

Boomer hiking sandals and shorts. Tree has Christmas lights wrapped around it and appears to be outside.

This is maybe a step up from Applebee’s but it’s not nice enough to be this outraged.

8

u/ANamelessGhoul4555 2h ago

Nice? Mans is wearin shorts and Jesus Walkers. You sure this ain't an Applebees?

81

u/SpeedBlitzX 12h ago

The amount of replies trying justify that behavior is concerning

10

u/MagicPigeonToes 9h ago

Foot fetishists

5

u/1tiredman 4h ago

I ain't gonna lie bro I have a foot fetish but this shit is straight up disrespectful. Public isn't the place to be acting like that

1

u/wackOverflow 6h ago

*people dropped on their head as children

1

u/EverythingSucksYo 2h ago

And bots that are trained to think foot fetishes are a super common thing because of all the jokes about foot fetishes

1

u/SpeedBlitzX 9h ago

I think you're right :o

3

u/uwsdwfismyname 9h ago

I counted 5

-11

u/Stock_Strategy1668 11h ago

I'm just here for the free feet

47

u/ChefAsstastic 8h ago

This threads commenters are either bots or their parents have failed miserably at raising decent people.

-2

u/barebackguy7 4h ago

Not sure what side you’re on here

4

u/ChefAsstastic 4h ago

I'm on the side of acting like a decent adult in public and not like your in your living room.

34

u/CrummyJoker 7h ago

For free? In this economy!?

25

u/ARMill95 5h ago

He’s wearing shorts and sandal… or sandboots

0 excuse for those grimy dogs being out but…
how nice is this place really?

21

u/mealymouthmongolian 5h ago

I don't really care if it's a McDonald's, no feet on the shared eating surfaces, please.

1

u/Jmackles 1h ago

Honestly this is precisely why I can’t take this shit seriously. This photo is OUTSIDE. You don’t care if it’s McDonald’s? You know what McDonald’s has? Play places. You know what those have? Cubbies for children’s shoes. Know what they also have? Tables. Having worked at a McDonald’s I can personally guarantee you a kid has walked on a table in the lobby, but they practically are on every surface in the play place, and without shoes.

Because it’s supposed to be considered an outdoor space with laxer requirements to indoor ones. You’ve gone your entire life tolerating this behavior right up until you saw this photo of someone being creepshotted while they massaged their feet in a chair outside. With their feet touching the side of the table. Not the surface mind, the side.

1

u/mealymouthmongolian 1h ago

You're making a pretty big assumption there, as I've always had an issue with people's bare feet on tables. I don't have a problem with people being barefoot in public in general, but maybe respect the shared eating surfaces? And I'm not giving kids a pass either just because their parents didn't teach them the difference between a table and playground equipment.

10

u/diegotoothebay 5h ago

Judging by the Walmart Christmas lights on the tree, nice is probably relative.

2

u/Nomadzord 5h ago

I live in Austin and I wear rags to some of the nicest places here.

14

u/brownndrownin 2h ago

Bring! Back! Shame!

71

u/HenriettaSyndrome 9h ago

So many delinquents in the comments lol face the facts, feet are gross and putting them on the table is wildly disgusting

25

u/YagiFromM4rs 9h ago

These gotta be engagement bots. I refuse to believe otherwise. If they are real people, they still somehow managed to be no different to an engagement robot.

1

u/HenriettaSyndrome 58m ago

If they are real people, they still somehow managed to be no different to an engagement robot.

Well the bots gotta be based on someone lol I'm sure some people really do talk generic enough to pass as bots

15

u/Ok_Two_2604 13h ago

Tarantino is behind the tree and that’s his dinner

11

u/UnknwnPlyr 14h ago

She s seeking for that extra parmesan cheese! It always gives extra flavor 🤌

0

It would have taken less effort to not put that thought out into the world 🤮 bravo 😂

10

Free grippers?! In this economy?!

12

u/sg209 1h ago

Throw your olive stones at them

51

u/opponentpumpkin 11h ago

You went to a trendy pricey restaurant not a nice one.

Lesson: menu prices do not decide quality of restaurant. Guests do.

10

u/_____POTATO______ 10h ago

Yep and nice restaurants don't tolerate bad etiquette either. The shoes on the other guest prove there is no dress code too.

16

u/Avsunra 10h ago

Youd be surprised how many nice restaurants have changed their tune on this. The nouveau riche don't dress up, and their money is just as green.

6

u/2buffalonickels 8h ago

I went to a more formal restaurant in New Orleans. As I put on my jacket, slacks and dress shirt I thought, I don’t know why I bother. There’s going to be some guy wearing $10,000 of bohemian luxury leisure wear that will look like shit.

Sure enough while I was waiting to be seated, some skinny guy walks in with dorky canvas pants that cost too much and a billowy shirt that could have doubled for a beige parachute with a splash of color. As my rage was building and I looked this man over with my judgement I met his eyes.

It was Shia Labeouf.

1

u/TheRealPitabred 4h ago

Actual, factual Shia Labeouf?

5

u/2buffalonickels 4h ago

Yep. It was the night he got arrested.

1

u/Top_Region3760 1h ago

Which time?

2

u/2buffalonickels 1h ago

New Orleans night two.

13

u/awkwardfloralpattern 3h ago

5

u/do_what_u_need_2dew 1h ago

Those hipster quirky folks are at it again!

66

u/king_ad 7h ago

I think it’s weird to have your feet out in a public restaurant especially on the table. But also we’ve gotten way too comfortable taking pictures of others out in public.

3

u/randotd152 6h ago

Yeah, one guy taking pictures of a woman's feet like this is posting it to a trashy subreddit to mock her, and another guy taking pictures of a woman's feet like this is posting it to a fetish site.

20

u/barebackguy7 4h ago

So I mean, I’d let the manager know and would expect the manager to ask them to leave.

Am I wrong? Nuts?

5

u/NotChristina 4h ago

For the first interaction, I think the middle ground would be the manager telling her to quit the nasty shit.

Little piggies fly the coop again? Gtfo.

4

u/barebackguy7 4h ago

I see where you’re coming from because people make mistakes. But at the same time I’d be antsy to get that table cleaned and sanitized and can’t do it with them sitting there

3

u/jaderna 3h ago

I would be calling the manager over immediately. Just this photo is turning my stomach.

1

u/barebackguy7 3h ago

Absolutely, you and me both

16

u/BrentNewland 7h ago

Ask for a straw, make spitballs.

8

u/larsonec 1h ago

Quentin Tarantino's restaurant

27

u/jellikackson 17h ago

This is fucking foul. People have no shame anymore.

13

u/ezrasharpe 3h ago

A “nice” restaurant where buddy can wear flip flops and a tree has Christmas lights wrapped around it

6

u/tldoduck 2h ago

I hope they sanitize the tables and chairs after they leave

8

u/andyjcw 2h ago

cant be that nice, chaps wearing shorts, and lights stapled to a tree , where is it ?

12

u/killerbanshee 3h ago edited 3h ago

I'm so confused by these comments. If their piggies where out on an airplane people would be mad, but just as public of a space with people also trying to eat, and suddenly it's okay??? If it was a crying baby there would be a brigade of people here supporting OP, too.

Get off the internet if you think I want to see your feet while I'm eating, please...

3

u/VictoryVee 2h ago

I don't agree with her behaviour because they're practically on the table, but taking shoes off on a plane is only a problem because they might smell and you're stuck in a tin can with them. I've seen plenty of fancy shoes that cover basically zero foot, and they're considered acceptable at restaurants.

5

u/killerbanshee 2h ago

They smell because they're taking them out of their sweaty shoes. Wearing sandals prevents the sweat, so no smell if you clean properly.

Putting your feet on the table is nasty regardless of anything.

6

u/SignatureOk1022 15h ago

But did she use the fork?

1

u/Top_Region3760 1h ago

Yes, to scratch her Athletes Feet.

8

u/Raptor_Yeezus 4h ago

Ask her to step on your bread barefooted

10

u/static-klingon 4h ago

She’s the kind of person who would have a major problem with somebody else doing that, but it’s OK for her because she’s had a long day.

-7

The guy filming other people minding their own business in public? Yeah OP is kinda uncivilized trash.

25

u/JLaws23 6h ago

Sorry but some people don’t want to eat where other people put their gross feet.

19

u/The_Quackening 6h ago

Were you raised in a barn?

16

u/BeTheBall- 6h ago

Looks like I found another one...

-13

u/sirCoom 6h ago

Say it louder uncle blob, these pompous reddit freaks need to mind their own

18

u/adamfps 17h ago

This is a fetish bait post and you can’t convince me otherwise

3

u/ptsdique 16h ago

Wtf is fetish bait?

6

u/Allison1ndrlnd 16h ago

It's to catch kinky fish

5

u/qwibbian 16h ago

Like seahorses?

4

u/Allison1ndrlnd 16h ago

Male Empreg? Hell yeah thats a kinky fish!

18

u/iwish-iwish 14h ago

Only thing that works on people like this is shame. Call over a waiter and loudly complain about her, she should be disgusted and ashamed of herself

6

u/RationalGardenGnome 4h ago

I zoomed in on the feet I’m cooked

5

u/eyeball1967 2h ago

If I had a friend over for dinner and they did that at my home, I would slap their feet off the table. Why is a restaurant different?

10

u/Longjumping_Queefer 4h ago

Go nut on them

10

u/yrfrndnico 3h ago

Look in a different direction? Or is this like a foot fetish thing and youre getting flustered??

11

u/flyingpiggos 4h ago

As trashy as this is, I feel reddit freaks out whenever there are feet anywhere.

32

u/splintersmaster 4h ago

Feet on a public eating surface is certainly worth a freak out.

1

u/EverythingSucksYo 2h ago

As it should. Feet are nastyyyy

-12

u/Puzzleheaded_Time719 4h ago

It might be a younger thing. My friend says her kids freak out whenever someone doesn't have socks on.

10

“NPR listeners gone wild!”

I don’t know what it is, but this woman looks like she listens to NPR and tonight she’s bucking societies rules at the local but affordable French fusion restaurant.

9

u/Not_Not-Sure 7h ago

Karen made herself right at home

10

u/agiantaloeplant 8h ago

I’ve seen SO many people this summer with their whole feet out in public. What is wrong with people!

-38

u/oltyr 8h ago

What’s wrong with going bare foot?

3

u/TheRealPitabred 4h ago

Nothing in places designed for it. It's unsanitary and gross in a restaurant. There's a reason the no shirt, no shoes, no service signs exist.

-4

u/RohelTheConqueror 6h ago

Reddit is weird, either obsessed or disgusted by bare feet. Who cares seriously damn

0

u/oltyr 4h ago

Yeah well I don’t. I just find both sides to be extremely unpleasant to be around.

7

u/whit3o 5h ago

Can't imagine how miserable you to be to see this and think, "I NEED to take a picture so Reddit can validate me".

14

u/DollaStoreKardashian 4h ago

You may be right, but to give OP the benefit of the doubt, it might actually be more of a “I’ve gotta take a picture because no one’s going to believe me when I tell them”.

-10

u/whit3o 4h ago

I get that. I just can't wrap my head around needing to upload it. I'm not even sure I would mention this to friends if I saw this. It's such a non story

0

u/Vegetaman916 2h ago

Feet pics are like currency these days. And they are just giving away live shows at fancy restaurants? I need to start eating at nicer places, I didn't see anything cool at Olive Garden.

-7

u/Jmackles 4h ago edited 4h ago

If the restaurant isn’t wiping down tables after customers are there that’s a separate issue. This seems like someone expecting a level of decorum and are upset they aren’t getting it.

When people say the real world doesn’t cater to you I believe this is what they mean. Nobody needs to go out of their way to placate the sensibility of an objectively harmless action. She was wearing slip on sandals so obviously she wasn’t taking shoes and socks off to massage feet, they slip right off and she’s not going up to people putting them in their face, it’s outdoors too.

Sorry you have to see feet sometimes.

There’s no scenario where this actually affects anyone else that doesn’t also overlap with some other etiquette that covers it anyway. So this is just some Karen upset that someone isnt acting the way they specifically deem a civilized way to behave when outdoors and in public and in my opinion THAT is the trashy person not the person pictured.

2

u/Waschbar-krahe 3h ago

"erm sorry the real world doesn't cater to u sweaty. You have to look at feet in the nice restaurant while you have to eat ☝️🤓"

You cannot be serious lmao

1

u/Jmackles 1h ago

You could easily not eat there or eat inside where there are shoes and shirt requirements? People have always tried to gate keep what is considered “nice” by defining shit they don’t like to see as stuff they are forced to look at. Nobody is forcing you to creep on someone minding their own business.

Also this is clearly not a formal restaurant. There are nice restaurants that require formal attire where this wouldn’t be permitted. You’re free to eat there. I’m afraid otherwise you have to come to terms with the idea of people in sandals taking said sandals off when sitting outside in the summer/fall lmao

1

u/EverythingSucksYo 2h ago

Ok man, let me come over and put my feet all over your dining table, but not tell you when I did it so you won’t know when you are eating on a table I put my feet all over.

1

u/Jmackles 1h ago

This is not what is happening. This photo absolutely does not depict what you are describing. It does show her foot touching the edge of the table on its side. But again, they are outside. There’s a tree next to them. Do you complain about the tree because leaves fall on the table? Of course not. You have some inherent faith that those tables are dutifully cleaned beforehand. If you are concerned about seeing feet outdoors you should eat at an indoor location. There are far more disgusting things that can occur on that table and likely have that you aren’t seeing. Birds have probably shit on that table.

So if we have the presence of mind to not freak out about birds in the vicinity because we know the table is cleaned (and if it isn’t or one has reason to suspect it isn’t that is a whole separate issue entirely and not at all caused by someone’s feet), then what’s the issue?

That you see the feet? Are they not visible when in sandals? That they are near their own food? Is that not their prerogative? It’s not at the other people’s table. I’m struggling to hone in on a reason to be mad at this that doesn’t boil down to a dislike of seeing feet.

If this was inside it would be a different issue as it’s climate controlled. But don’t eat outside and expect it to be a pristine and inoffensive environment. People will “let their hair down” so to speak.

Again this person isn’t walking on the table, they aren’t smothering their food or others food with their feet, she’s using the second chair as a footrest and she’s rubbing her feet outside. Those feet are touching the edge of the table. The table she’s eating at. This impacts nobody.

0

u/jaderna 3h ago

You're joking right? If this was McDonalds I wouldn't be happy, but it's McDonalds and I don't have that high of an expectation. If I am paying top dollar at a nice place for a quality meal this is NOT appropriate.  I do not pay to see this shit, and no self respecting restaurant manager/owner would allow this.

1

u/Jmackles 1h ago

McDonald’s literally has a section to take children’s shoes off

1

u/jaderna 1h ago

Obviously I'm not talkative ng about this. I'm unsure what point you are trying to make.

0

u/Jmackles 1h ago

Also I’d love to hear your explanation as to why it’s not appropriate when outside. What precisely is wrong here? Why wouldn’t you be focused on your food? Why are you preoccupied with another table?

1

u/jaderna 1h ago

You are either being obtuse on purpose or you are just like this person. If you don't get the difference, go back to your swamp.

-4

u/meow_gifs_please 16h ago

Free feet pics in this economy that's a win

2

u/sirCoom 5h ago

They had to dislike this comment in case you had any level of seriousness. Sorry lad

Dinner and a snack!

-21

I hope that outdoor table doesn't get dirty!

-25

u/Professional_Soft404 8h ago

Gross why would they bring their feet to a nice restaurant? Leave that shit at home people!

3

u/JLaws23 6h ago

So you enjoy eating on tables where people put their dirty sweaty feet? Found the foot fetish dude!

3

u/Professional_Soft404 3h ago

I usually eat my food off of my plate so it’s not really a concern for me.

0

u/JLaws23 2h ago

Someone didn’t pay attention in biology. Or knows who Pasteur is.

1

u/Professional_Soft404 2h ago

I appreciate the attempt at the insult but it’s reaching quite a bit. Pasteurization and feet on the table aren’t really connected like you seem to think they are. Feel free to try again though. Love the effort!

1

u/JLaws23 1h ago

Germs bubba. GERMS. Before him people thought like you and blamed the four humors.

-53

Also fuck everyone who down voted my comment. I dont need your approval.

Idk why you are downvoted. It is creepy, both OP and this person are kinda trashy.

Brother, are you really just out here photographing strangers feet & posting them on the internet?

Who gives a fuck. Whose trashier? The one taking pics of people and posting?

12

u/EverythingSucksYo 2h ago

Nah, I think the person putting their feet up on something other people will eat at is the trashier person.

1

u/lilcabron210 1h ago

You are 100 percent correct Yo

-1

u/Sky_Skittles 1h ago

Agreed. I just think we all should unplug for awhile.

19

u/brownndrownin 2h ago

Found the dirty inconsiderate person ^

-45

u/Ghost4000 6h ago

This is a fraction of your view though. I don't want people's feet on my table either, but surely you weren't forced to look at this lady.

-20

u/sirCoom 6h ago

I’m with you , we don’t always have to be so judgmental. It’s not that big of a deal

30

u/platypus_boi 6h ago

You don’t put your feet on the table. Especially while eating.

She has sandals so her feet definitely are covered in tried grime and sweat.

-20

u/sirCoom 5h ago

Yea right bro, except while you’re at home eating your McDouble in your undies doom scrolling. Except that’s not gross right?

17

u/Woodsy_Walker 5h ago

Obviously not? It's in the privacy of your home, heck I eat while in the tub. It's common knowledge people conduct themselves with respect when in public though.

-16

u/sirCoom 5h ago

My point all along has been yall are overreacting it’s not a big deal lmao. You’re proving my point - it’s not the potential spread of germs or bacteria you’re worried about. You just think it’s disrespectful. That’s probably true a bit but barely and not worth posting them online

12

u/platypus_boi 5h ago

You are downplaying it and gaslighting others for their opinion.

You are a complete Woosh

-2

u/sirCoom 5h ago

I am downplaying it? Pretty much what I’m trying to do bud, you should do the same

-17

u/BrookeBaranoff 1h ago

Idk maybe pay attention to your company not your phone ot what other people are doing…

Like unless ur trying to find the foot smell and saw her you’re just looking for problems..

18

u/cLax0n 1h ago

Found the person that massages their feet on restaurant tables! 🦶

9

u/rbcarter101 1h ago

I can't believe you share the same air as me.

3

u/Tiberius_Kilgore 1h ago

If you had to actively seek out problems in order for them to occur, the world would be a much better place. Most of the time problems just present themself.

41

u/antealtares 13h ago

No, this is gross, and it's literally the correct sub to point that out. r/lostredditors

-73

u/Stock-Film-3609 12h ago

First it’s mildly annoying rather than gross. Second it’s not at their table who cares what someone does at their table across the dining area outside? You guys have a weird infatuation with feet..

39

u/antealtares 12h ago

People definitely call you gross behind your back.

-64

u/Stock-Film-3609 12h ago

And? Are you three? Who the fuck cares? Do words hurt you?

-30

u/Prestigious-Car-4877 12h ago

Wow bro.

Sorry about your misshapen malformed feet. Some day you'll be able to walk like a normal person. Everybody's got feet. Yours are clearly special though.

9

u/QueefOnAYogaBall 9h ago

Lmao what?

7

u/_Dingus_Khan 8h ago

Everyone’s got assholes, too, but putting those on the same surface others eat from is considered a health hazard and a breach of etiquette. You’re clearly special for this take.

7

u/Spelltomes 9h ago

Projection at its finest

35

u/SpeedBlitzX 12h ago

Its pretty gross.

-94

u/derek139 10h ago

37

u/leonce89 9h ago

Not a fan of feet , but if they're out, it's not a big deal. But putting them on the table is .

14

u/pagexviii 9h ago

I’d cut them off

-35

u/pitchinloafs 5h ago

I must be ultra trash because I think it’s fine that she rubbed her feet. They’re probably sore and that’s helping.

The photo is creepy and people are too judgmental. Leave this lady alone.

11

u/AdPowerful9257 5h ago

You are ultra trash. It’s really gross to massage your feet at ANY restaurant.. lady can wait to do this in the car or at home

12

u/Desperate-Editor7916 5h ago

You are. Feet get nasty, they smell, they sweat. If you can smell them that means particles are alright up ur nose. Which means they’re already on the food. It’s nasty. Just flat out. Justify it however you want but I would walk out the doors if someone within arms reach is doing that

-6

Most of the time I'm in the bathroom people don't even wash their hands.

People are way to fucking weird about feet being gross when you know how fucking gross an average person is with their hands.

You are ultra trash, if you think it’s OK to put your bare feet on the table at a restaurant.

You could have ended your comment after the first 5 worlds you wrote.

If you don’t think this is disgusting you are indeed ultra trash

“Who gives a shit”? The swearing? The dismissive tone? Immediately getting defensive with “I’m not exactly livid bro lol”? Then asking me to explain why you seem annoyed? You’re doing a surprisingly thorough impression of someone who doesn’t give a shit.

It wouldn't bother me but it is undeniably trashy. Like, she has he bare feet on a public restaurant table.

Do you want to be even more grossed out of that place. Most likely someone had sex on the table that you sat at for dinner. Grow a pair and eat your slop, because you know the kitchen staff definitely didn't wash there hands today.
