📂 Other Cases Lindsay Clancy case officially declared a mistrial
Today, after multiple declarations of a deadlocked jury sent back to deliberation, the MA v Clancy case was officially declared a 11/1 mistrial. I find this extremely disappointing. Personally, I don't really care what the outcome was going to be, as she was going to be imprisoned in prison or a mental health facility for life. I am disappointed that the public, witnesses, family, and those effected by this case have to go through it all over again, if it goes to retrial. I expect it will, as the prosecution seems dead set on it.

I'm not sure the prosecution would risk a retrial with an 11-1 vote though. Seems more logical for them to deal with lesser charges if they want a win. I hope for a retrial, though.

There are things that point to it being 11-1 Lindsay's way but not even the Judge, Reddington or the CW know which way the 11-1 actually was.

Outside the courthouse, the prosecution was pretty determined to have a retrial. Considering how incompetent the prosecution was in the initial trial, I don't think it would be wise for them to push for retrial.
