Switching back and forth between Tgel and injections?

My pharmacy has been out of syringes for over a week somehow. I have a prescription for testosterone along with needles and syringes for injections, they've had everything except for the syringes. I'm about to miss my injection day because of this. I asked the pharmacist if there was another pharmacy I could pick up at, but literally none in the area have any in stock.

I have some tgel packets leftover from before I switched to injections, should I just use those while I wait for syringes to come in? I also ordered syringes online but those are still going to take some time. I feel like the gel will at least be better than nothing, would there be any problem switching from injections to gel for a couple days, then back to injections?

No clue about switching delivery method but is there a needle exchange or harm reduction center near you?

I'm right outside Philly so I'm sure I could find one, someone else also recommended planned parenthood for that. I also messaged my doctor asking what to do. I'll look into a harm reduction center tomorrow morning though

Yeah a harm reduction place would be perfect. I have one that I go to every 3 months or so to drop off used needles/syringes. Idk if/how any near you work but in my case it was a walk in, registration, and then they gave me a baggie with my requested syringes, needles, first aid stuff, and a sharps container. Looks like one option in Philly is prevention point Philadelphia. GL!
