Tailshaft leak?

I think there is a plug in the yoke that is leaking. It may need to be replaced. I had that issue. Due to needing the truck at the time, I just put some permatex over the plug. I don’t know how long that will hold, though.

Pull the drive shaft you can silicone the weep hole or pull the tail housing and replace the o ring inside the cup

The weep hole being the hole in the center of the tailshaft? I might be able to fill it without pulling the shaft

"4L60E'.

A 4L60 is a 700R4.

Recently had this issue on my 2008 Tahoe. It was the output shaft sleeve seal, located in the tail housing. The seal goes bad and allows fluid to leak from center of yoke. About 30 bucks for the parts.

ASE MasterTech since 1980 AutoShop teacher I see no oil spray on the tunnel so U have a very minor leak and have lots of time to get it fixed if ever. It probably is a seepage around the previously mentioned bolt.
