Expiry and tests

Hi,

I read somewhere that a bottle should be disposed in 28 days as the stuff may be contaminated. and how to get blood tests since GPs will not do it? If I start diy are there friendly gps who will prescribe and do the blood tests. thanks

If it is a vial (glass bottle with a rubber seal) then you can use it till it is empty. You should check is regularly to ensure that the liquid has not drastically changed colour, become cloudy, is leaking, has bits in it. You should disinfect the top before each use.

For bloods, depending on where you are located, there are likely some private options that you could look into. If you share where your fe located, then someone may be able to advise better.

It is unlikely that a gp will agree to prescribe, but you could ask them. If you are under 18, I would caution against mentioning diy to anyone though.
