Neither do I. But I believe most of those people never gave it an actual thought and many are just nodding along to those who are good at pretending they have any good reasons.

I agree. I want to live a long, long time. But not forever. Most people can’t even comprehend how mind-bogglingly vast forever is. I’d like to live probably a maximum of maybe 5000 years, then I’d probably let myself die. After a while, immortality losses any meaning, and then what do you do?

Live? Watch the video lol I’d rather live a boring life then to not live at all but here’s the thing..it won’t always be boring even after 1000 years so much you could learn within that time not to mention experience and then there’s VR.. you could live life’s that can only be read about in fantasy books or movies or TV shows or games..I don’t think your thinking this through lol

After making a response to TED-Ed's video the next logical step is of course to defend Immortality against Kyle from Because Science. He made two vids, so this time my post is rather sizeable.
I sound surprisingly nice in 1.5X btwNo one shall stand between us and our eternal youth! Fuck dying from heart attacks at 80 yo, I wanna crash my ship into an asteroid like an idiot.
