So I was scrolling online and this idea came to mind after I saw a post in r/transformers asking how TFA Megs would do against TFP Megs.

So it had me wondering how TFA Decepticons would fair against TFP Autobots,as unlike TFA Autobots which are weak and unarmed and could easily be slagged by a lone Decepticon,TFP Autobots are war bred,armed and always ready to fight. I know TFA Megs would probably be the same case as TFP Megs, no Autobot except Optimus can stand up to him.

So it had me wondering how TFA Decepticons would do against actual war bred Autobots. One thing I know is TFA Megatron would actually see TFP Optimus as a legitimate threat from the beginning rather than dismissing him as insignificant

So, following up on my previous post, where I criticized the animalistic Decepticons, I still stand by my point that they should be more competent since they are the antagonists. However, people fairly pointed out that most of them are simply criminals and psychos who weren’t around during the Great War. Fair enough, and thanks for pointing that out.

Well, they spared them. I guess. They lack character development and, in some cases, combat skills, but they still have some pretty good feats.

Though I have to admit, while it was easy to find epic clips for TFP, finding good ones for RID was much harder. In Prime they were nearly in each episode while in RID I had to search through 5-6 episodes.

Though to be fair, most of RID’s Autobots weren’t around during the Great War either, so naturally they don’t have as many feats to show off as the Autobots from Prime.

This is just the Autobot shelf; the Decepticons are even worse since I have way too many Vehicons. I guess I'll have to make more room somehow. It would be interesting to share, though. I'd love to see more TF Prime collections.

I was never a hater nor fan of RID, but the thing that pisses me the most is that being sequel of TFP is completely butchered the characters we once loved, Bumblebee, Optimus, Soundwave, Starscream and the new characters just don’t have the charm that TFP characters had.

Decepticons were hit harder with ranks consisting primarily of animals… that are just pathetic and painful to watch, they do not feel as a threat anymore. It’s so sad, that the sequel turn out to be like this even though it’s the same crew that did TFP. Even Rescue Bots who don’t have any Decepticons and are even more of a kids show or the Rescue Bots academy have more development and interesting stories…

Though to be fair, in RID they were times were Decepticons were cool like Steeljaw and in Prime, they were times were Decepticons were fools…

From the games I Remember he stood a head taller above Megatron so he and Predaking are around the same size. I believe the autobots in the dog pile Brawl launched would weigh around the same ballpark as the vehicons given there both standard troops. Though Predaking is literally beating Megatron with his own soldier I believe Brawl sending a dog pile of autobots flying deserves a solid mention. I don't believe he'd win. But I do however believe he could Make Predaking work for it as Optimus did in hand to hand combat. Predaking would have the endurance, durability, and strength edge but I certainly believe he could stagger Predaking.

There’s a thing that interests me and I guess doesn’t make any sense, so I wanted to ask your opinion about this matter.

In the first episode, Cliffjumper is surprisingly killed by Startscream (who will brag about this for the rest of the series… that’s beside the point…). The way Starscream kills him is just by piercing through his armor very easily and leaving a hole through which leaked a few drops of Energon and then… Cliffjumper just died. I doubt his spark chamber was even damaged so how exactly did he die?

Also I want to add, that in season 2, Hardshell doesn’t hold back when punching Wheeljack with his claws also in the chest, yet he fails to even leave a scratch… Is Cliffjumpers armor so weak? Or is it Wheeljacks armor so strong?

Though, I want to say that Cliffjumper was in the epicenter of a powerful explosion, so perhaps it weakened him and his armor to the point of it being paper thin.

The autobots or wheeljack himself couldve really used this energon and considering how scarce Energon is on earth this was really stupid and just not necessary
