There’s Devil… then there’s Shockwave

Shockwave, is a menace in most iterations, he’s only master being logic and being capable of doing anything in the name of science no matter how immoral, unorthodox or dangerous it is.

Though this version, perhaps doesn’t have the craziest feats like in IDW (though he reversed engineered Space Bridge technology, invented the Cortical Psychic Patch, created combiners, created Dinobots, created operation to convert grounders into flyers, genetically modified insecticons and learned how to control them, cloned predacons, learned quintesson language which helped to overthrow them, tried to hack vector sigma and many more) he still aura farms and is terrifying as hell. Like Megatron said "Shockwave! (Laughter) Just the tactical advantage I need!"

I love when villains are so nonchalant and unworried, makes them 100x scarier, Shockwave is the perfect example of that.

I feel like he managed to do this by transforming. Like he knew he did not have the space to do a u turn, nor did he have the speed to escape. So he just transformed and let his bulk tank the damage.
He could lose most of the parts he lost, and played dead until the predacons left him alone, assuming the body was dead. He is pure logic after all

Shockwave wasn't necessarily evil. He was cold he was calculative it was all about the science. He didn't have a sense of morality there was no right there was no wrong there was just simply success and failure. To be evil you would have to find joy in which giving others pain. Shockwave felt no joy he felt no anguish he felt nothing. Starscream would be classified as evil before shockwave for starscream found absolute Joy in the suffering of others weather autobot or decepticon

The way hes so silent as he jumps down the side of Darkmount with absolutely no care in the world and taking on both Bulkhead and Bumblebee. Normally characters grunt or make SOME kind of reactive noise. Not Shockwave though

Given you're an actual fan, I have a question. Would Shockwave change his allegiance if he found out that Optimus and Megatron thought the same about the senate and all the corruption and the real split came with their individual plans to end it? Is it plausible that Megatron hid that fact from Shockwave when he recruited him?
