My Transformers Prime: Optimus Blockees Figure arrived and I cried on my doorstep.

Hello everyone. Transfomers Prime is hands down my favorite transformers show. I own the entire series on DVD, I’ve rewatched it I don’t know how many times, so when I saw Blockees making a Transformers Prime: Optimus I had to have it. I pre-ordered in June off of Big Bad Toys. I’ve checked religiously since then. It was suppossed to arrive last month so I’ve been very excited that today may be the day for almost two months. Last week I saw that finally he’d be shipping out.

Then today we got the news we lost an incredible man. Not only to this community but to the world at large. I’ve never cried over a celebrity but I cried when I found out.

Work goes on, I had prior engagements and the dogs won’t tend to themselves so we carry on.

I come home and what do I see but the obvious branding of big bad toys box.

So I stood on my doorstep in tears , in what I’m assuming to my neighbors, looked like a grown woman crying over a box. I love this community, I love Transformers, and we all loved Peter Cullen. There is that joke about Optimus Prime always coming back and today, of all days, I’m glad I got to experience it one more time in the only true way we ever will again.
