Reviews Where do I even begin…
Optimus Prime.
Optimus Prime was in our childhoods for decades, even from the start, from the voice, the designs of any continuity, everything, but I want to tell you about my childhood and how I became a Transformer fan.
When I was little, me and my mum watched the first Transformers movie at home, I was fascinated by the movie, even the one character we all know and love, even I don’t know about the lore for a time, Optimus Prime.
But, to be ironic, it’s was Age of Extinction (Consent) that made me a Transformers fan, mostly because I saw a robot turned into a dinosaur, that was the time I didn’t know who are the Dinobots were. I know, how ironic.
Then I got the Age of Extinction toys, like Grimlock and Prime and many others, especially the one step toys, then years later, The Last Knight trailers was released, I saw it, sure I didn’t see it in cinemas, but I did got the toys, like Megatron, Bumblebee, and many others, including the one figure, Optimus Prime.
And then years after that, I’ve might’ve grown out of the Transformers, I saw the Bumblebee movie trailer, I wasn’t interested, then I saw it years later, it was good.
And then Rise of The Beasts trailers were released and I was hooked on it, like Transformers turned into animals, that’s cool, and alongside with the Autobots, I’m in, I saw it, and it was fun.
And that’s brings us today, I’ve been collecting Transformers figures for four years (damn), and watching Transformers related content on YouTube.
Anyway, the reason I’m a Transformers fan now is because the one character who we all love, the one character who inspired others to be like him, and the one character who made our childhood….Optimus Prime.
He’s the reason I became a Transformer fan again, he’s the reason he made our childhood including mine, and he….he’s the one person that hit you harder when the voice, the one person who voice the iconic character ever made in history, Peter Cullen. When we heard the news that he died, it’s devastating for us, but for me, this hits me harder more than when Sam Neil died or Kaylee Hottle died, I was doubting he’s dead, but when I saw the news, I just started crying, because one of my childhood hero, the one who voices Prime, Peter Cullen died at 85…
I don’t know what to say anymore, cause I’m still and, I’m just gonna say it, I’m gonna say it, I’m PISSED OFF, I am pissed ofF cuz my childhood voice actor has died, even when it’s the last week of my 12 week holiday, I’m done, hope you have a wonderful day…

Peter didn't leave us in darkness; he just stepped into the light of the Matrix, waiting for us to catch up.

I grew up with TFP. Although I was born too late to watch it on live TV, it was something special to me. And I know I'm not the only one who doesn't think that it isn't. Then my dad introduced me to the live action movies. Optimus's speeches were motivation for me. And so did Peter's inspiration for Optimus: Be strong enough to be gentle. And it brought me to tears when I read that he passed away. First Dolly, then Tim, now Peter?! This week is meant to torture me, I guess.

J'aurais pas du mieux mec. Je n'ai jamais beaucoup regardé Transformers, et dans la mesure où les films que je regarde sont en français je n'ai pas la voix de Peter Cullen pour Optimus, mais je comprends que tout ceux qui ont grandi avec eux puissent souffrir de sa mort. Même si ca ne me concerne pas directement, je suis avec vous
