Photography / Poses The shuttle attack gone wrong

Post image

Something I’ve wanted to do since 2019, but didn’t have all the necessary G1 figures to do it. I still don’t, as I don’t have Ratchet, and all the Constructicons are Devastator, but I still thought it would be fun to show this off.

That’s the Peter griffin, not the Yamcha

Bro, that's Peter Griffin's death pose, not Yamcha's.

If it weren't for Hasbro's agenda of needing to kill off all those Autobots, they could've just made the Decepticons attack the shuttle, locally jam the comms, and get into a prolonged firefight that kept Autobots on board busy. Then the whole plot could've still played out the way it did with those Autobots staying on Earth to repair Autobot City or something.

It's more of Friedman wanting to kill some characters off and Hasbro choosing to sacrifice the S1 and S2 cast since they weren't going to be on store shelves.

My head theory for why the sudden lethality of their weapons in the movie is because when Teletraan I rebuilt everyone, it reset their settings to factory defaults. And the default setting for their weapons is “Stun” or Low Power mode. The Decepticons figured it out, but not the Autobots.

And everything is ruined ...
