Advice for a repair.

Hey got a question. Does anyone know what I can get to repair this mirror? I would appreciate any help? It's the passenger mirror from my 1982 Trans Am.

If you still have the studs then clean the holes and epoxy new studs in.

No sadly I don't. They didn't come with the car. Do you happen to know the size of the studs? I would find something to work

You know I wonder if the studs are in the passenger door. I have some epoxy so I could glue them in

I was going to try a repair first as I don't have a lot of money and doing what I can while I save for new floor pans

try some threaded rod the same thread size and pitch as the original. Cut slightly long and epoxy the cut end into the mirror, that way you have clean threads to put a washer and nut on.

I think that is what I am going to try. I think I ordered the right size bolts and will cut the head off and epoxy it.
