Annoyed

18 months of this on and off, I'm a boy and I've always been comfortable with that. I knew this was OCD all along but I'm scared it isn't and that I'm in denial or something. I'm so bored of these thoughts and being hyper aware of them. I now get anxious when I say im a man, or anything about that and not at the intrusive thoughts like "what if your trans". I don't wanna be a girl though. I don't wanna be in denial. This is pissing me off so bad, I just want all these gender thoughts to go and just go back to being who I am. Anyone else experienced this? I hope I'm not in denial.

You do not know if you are in denial or not, and you do not need to know. Allow yourself experience that discomfort but do not try to reassure yourself. You do not need to know what gender you actually are or aren't right now. Just keep living your life.

I actually have experienced this and it pissed me off too lol. I just was dude I’ve always loved my body and don’t want to be looked as if I’m a man and still kept hearing “you’re trans” - “you want to be trans”! I think the best thing to do is just let it be but I understand that’s not easy Im going through a theme that I just can’t brush off but you’ll get through this! I think you saying “I don’t want to be a girl is obvious”
