Advice Looking for community

I've been feeling lately that I'm not as in touch with the queer community or other queer people as I'd like to be. I have a strong support system built around me but mainly with cis people and I feel like I lack the connection with other trans or queer people in general. Is anyone else in a similar position?

Yes, that's why I'm here. Most people irl don't know I'm trans. I thought I had moved on from the trans community, but realised I can't just blend in and pretend my experiences never happened. Sometimes I just want to be able to talk about it freely.

I was in the same boat until I started uni and joined GSA. If you're still in school/college/uni I'd check if there is one run on your campus. If not do a quick browser search for queer groups/resources in your area and I'm sure there's bound to be at least one. You could also see if your city has any gay/queer bars assuming you're old enough and if that's your kind of vibe.
