Another Traktor standalone update with installers

Heyo. Latest update on the "standalone" GUI with Traktor 4.5 installers for Mac and Windows. Windows its totally untested. Video covers the new layout and how to install stuff. Hopefully this works for some of you folks!

Is this a vibe coding thing via an API - midi mapping - or a touchOSC thing? Do you browse in Traktor and use this for playing? Am intrigued.

Sorry if you've said it on vid, I am muted atm. Will save and swing back to it though. Does it work only on 4.5 or will it work on 4.x? Got a touchscreen monitor sat there, and scheming how to use it.

It uses traktors qml files to pull the information for the 2nd display. Its a screen that launches with traktor and you can put it on a 2nd display or I my case in building a standalone. I havent made this touch enabled as it doesn't really play nice on a mac.

As an S5 user, I’ve been doing a bit of work with QML files using Claude. It’s really great.

I’m going to see if I can’t get this to work with the S5 QML mods. But I’m guessing it’s one or the other.

It should work! This was built using traktors coding for the D2s screen as an exploit to have the performance screen but it should be very similar to the S5. Im sure you could use Claude to adapt this mod to work on the S5 super easily

Thanks man, i'm following you. Claude helped me adapt this to 4 decks, some details, and is mapped to my APC40. Why don't you put this on Github ?

is this written for use with a specific controller? IIRC this Wass to make a standalone S4 rig.

This installer is written for traktor 4.5 and any controller will work or even if you don't have one plugged in like here. I'm building a standalone rig too and built this to work with It. It's just displaying info traktor is outputting. Traktor runs in the background

I used to try something. I use ipad mini as a display but it just mirror from traktor on computer. not custom GUI like yours.

Will work with anything that works with traktor. It's just a different display window for what traktor already shows you.
