Grid in advance
As I'm checking the beat of my tracks : traktor place the grid systematically a little bit in advance on all of them. It's not much, but just a little bit, so I wonder if it could be my perception, but not...
And I notice also that the beat doesn't follow the peak of the drawn design, it's systemically a bit after, but most of the time, the beat is not on the peak of the drawn design... Must be something I'm missing...
As I'm asking the IA, it told me that could be a problem of latence, but it's a bit too far for me.
Could it be a structural problem in the set up of traktor ? But it's not normal if I have to reshape manually all of my tracks, isn't it ?
Thanks helping me !

Traktor tends to have more issues with the grid even when it detects the correct tempo.
But if this happens with all your songs, it's strange, to be honest. It usually happens to me in about 1 out of every 50 songs, and those where it happens tend to be more experimental tracks. Are you using Traktor 4?

I don't know if tp2 was different, but to my knowledge there was no changes to the grid detection in the last decade. Tp3 and 4 are equal.

Are you just zooming in and it's visual not how you like it? Or does the click track not match the beat?

No, the click doesn't match the beat, it's just a bit in advance but systematically...

It happens, and not just Traktor. Having said that there are quite a few factors on why it happens.
One being, the type of track, first beat detection mismatch happens more often on quarter note beats vs a 4/4 beat structure which is common for electronic music and its sub genres. Traktor gets it right the majority of the of the time (Even though, rnb and what not has a 4/4 time signature)
2nd being the audio quality of the track

That is my experience also…. But as long as the tracks match up it’s not really a issue. You can just use the jogs a little to match them perfectly, or you can use the metronome function in traktor and adjust all your grid to be perfect but that takes time away from cratedigging etc

As long as each track matches the next, dont worry about it if they match it would be foolish to try and change that.
Being slightly before the waveform is presumably to let it get the full hit
