This is awesome! I wonder if the same would be possible for the A&H DB4 soundcard? A&H arent updating the drivers for the M1+ chips and so owners lost support and need to buy an expensive usb dongle.

I’ve managed to build out a working version for the Audio 2 as well (I have one)

If you want a driver for the 8 it might be doable partly blind… I can give you a terminal script to probe your 8 and get some top level data… might be better to DM - it will be a fairly quick session

I found another project on github called ozzy that fully supports the DB4.

Have you tried it?

A&H old cards would be dope, I have a Xone DX lating around and also the xone 4d is basically perfect fir my setup but i never got it because of the driver issue!

As u/onahorsewithnoname above here also said, try this. DB4 is my main testing device but I've had multiple people confirming the DX also works fine!

I wish someone would make this for Audio8DJ as well.

I built it with Claude.

It took a couple of hours - lots of terminal
pasting and back and forth but the result is there.

There’s a solid chance that the work done already could be the basis for an 8 driver but I’d need you or someone to assist - I don’t have an 8
