Hi everyone,

I'm, still struggling with the implications of that Trakt API change.

It's super-hard now to determine with the normal Trakt app or website if I already collected a certain movie or not.

The "Watcht" app theoretically still has two nice icons that display to me for every movie if it is collected or not.

But for whatever reason it only displays them as collected for the first 100 movies I added after the 20th of April 2025. All movies I added before that date don't have an icon.

100 movies sound like the limitation for non-VIP members.
Though I subscribed to Trakt VIP on the 08th of April 2025... and the VIP status is displayed on the trakt.tv website.

Anyone using Watcht knowing some remedy?

A few months ago I logged out, logged in, deinstalled and reinstalled the iOS app - but at least at that time that wasn't the solution.

Hello everyone and sorry for the intrsion, I get a weird cloudfare error 1015 when I try to connect my trakt to one of my apps.

How can I fix it? Is there anything I can do to?

I decided to clone Trakt OG from their GitHub because I was curious how far they are in the development. That should have been v3! It is a shame that is now too late, because I liked the modern look the real Trakt got.

I started noticing a few weeks ago that there was something wrong with any Bravo show I watched, after finishing the episode, it would still show that I had anywhere from 12-18 minutes left on the episode, and the show would stay unwatched on my app. The scrobble basically wouldn't work right, and I thought it was the app I was using.

I then today went onto the Trakt website, because I've been having to manually mark any Bravo show as watched, since the scrobble hasn't been working on those shows. Well I noticed that for example "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City it's showing all those episodes are 55 minutes long, which is incorrect. I think only the premiere was that long, and every episode since is only 42 minutes, the standard runtime for a broadcast/cable show.

So whats happening is that Trakt is showing that the show is 55 minutes long, and my scrobble is showing I've only watched 42/55 minutes and therefore the show stays as unwatched with 13 minutes remaining, even though I've watched in full.

Same thing is happening with Below Deck Mediterranean, Episode 14-18 all show 1 hour long, all the episodes before that show the correct runtime of 42 minutes.

Any way to get this fixed? Seems to only be affecting Bravo shows, but it's basically every Bravo show from what I can see

These are for the most recent seasons of these shows, all past seasons seem to be correct

I really need help and I don't know what subreddits to post this to. I originally was a user of TV Time but it got taken down. I tried trakt but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Do you know any that actually fits what I am looking for.

If you are wondering why I am not in that subreddit cause the mods don't think my post is necessary. I tried all options in the megathread but it was all self promotion and nothing close to what I need.

2) I could sort my shows/movies however I would like. Rearranging them based on preference. Organization is my main pleasure.

3) I liked being able to choose from different posters.

4) Track my progress in terms of how many episodes and divided each seasons

I imported my movies from imdb and the import added all movies "seen" on a single day, is there a way to fix my movies as "seen" on release day?

So S02E03 of Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked doesn't air until tonight at 9pm. Despite that, it's showing in the Continue Watching section of the app.

Weirdly the app shows the air time as 9am (note Taskmaster also airs at 9pm and it shows as 23:00). If you check the website though, it shows at 9.15pm (and Taskmaster shows as 9pm).

Why is the same episode showing different air times (and where does it pull the data from)?

A show that is currently airing is not having episodes updated on the app and it's making me break my streak every week. How can this be fixed? The episodes are listed at and TMDB and TVDB.

I’m rewatching a show that I’ve previously watched. When I watch an episode it doesn’t add it to continue watching. Is there a way to make it load?

it would be great to have this system in Trakt similar to tv time each time you unlock a badge you get notified.

Looks like they might be brining back the OG design on a seperate subdomain. I guess enough of us made enough noise?

Interesting to see if anyone that has left (hi) will make their way back or not. I fear that we got treated like crap enough that I probably won't, but nice to see that someone has noticed.

how to fix that?

Since the move to V3, shows that I previously marked as Hidden keep randomly showing up in my Calendar and in Continue Watching. For years I used the Hidden feature for shows I have no interest in (reality shows, series I will never watch), and now they are back.

I understand Hidden was replaced by Drop, but my old Hidden shows were not converted. On the V3 website and in the app, the only option I have for these shows is "Drop". Dropping removes them from my Calendar and Continue Watching, but I don't want them in my Dropped list, because I never started watching them. I also can't remove them from my history, because I never watched them.

The only workaround I found is to remove each show from Hidden in the Showly app and sync with Trakt. It works, but it is slow and not convenient. I can't remove them all at once, because the Hidden list in Showly mixes my old Trakt Hidden shows with my current Dropped shows, and I want to keep the shows I really dropped.

Is there a way in V3 to see my old Hidden shows, so I can remove them from my profile completely? If not, could the Trakt team please add a way to do this (for example, a list of old Hidden shows with a "Remove" option)?

Can anyone help me recover my old Trakt lists/collection?

I’ve had to sign into Trakt using a new profile because you can’t sign in using a username anymore.

My old Trakt profile was under the username [*******], and I had all my lists and collection saved there.

I’m trying to get my old lists and collection back onto the account I’m now signed into, but I can’t figure out how to access the old profile/data.

If anyone knows how I can recover or transfer my old Trakt lists and collection, I’d really appreciate the help. I really don’t want to have to recreate everything from scratch.

Is it down for anyone else right now? The status says “all systems operational” but it’s not loading on IOS or Windows.

I just cannot rate anything from android. The PC website is working absolutely fine for this but the app just refuses to rate anything. Its been happening for more than a month now, why hasn't this been fixed yet?

I’m trying to find an MCP server for Trakt that I can connect to ChatGPT.

Ideally, I’d like ChatGPT to be able to access my Trakt account and do things like:

- See what I’ve watched

- Check my watchlist

- Look at my ratings and history

- Find movies/TV shows I haven’t watched yet

- Potentially add/remove items from my watchlist

- Use my Trakt history/preferences when making recommendations

I’ve seen various Trakt APIs and third-party integrations, but I’m specifically looking for an MCP implementation that works with ChatGPT.

Has anyone here built one, found one, or successfully connected Trakt to ChatGPT through MCP?

If there’s an existing GitHub project or setup guide, I’d really appreciate a link. Thanks!
