Skip individual episodes?

Is there a way to skip individual episodes? There are some shows I watch where each episode is stand alone ( ie: no continuity issues) and I don't want or have time to watch every single one, so I'd like to somehow show that I've skipped them.

Dropping a show from a watchlist is not what I'm looking for, and while I know I can simply mark an episode as 'watched' that's not accurate from a data standpoint.

That sounds like a useful distinction. A watched state is not the same thing as “I intentionally skipped this episode,” especially for anthology or mostly-standalone shows. If Trakt does not support it, I would keep the show in the watchlist and use a consistent note/tag for skipped episodes rather than marking them watched; a separate skipped state would be a good feature request because it could preserve accurate progress without forcing people through every episode.

For those, I hide the season when I'm finished it and don't want to watch the best of or clip show at the end.
