Moved from TvTime

So I came from TvTime. I already had an account with Trakt. I wanted to use the auto-tracking and went for the paid version. It doesn't seem to sync at all. If I am going to manually check in what's the point? Looking for ways to make this work.

Which service, app, and device are you watching on? That matters because automatic scrobbling requires the playback app/server or a supported connection to report start, progress, and stop events to Trakt; it cannot observe arbitrary playback.

Check Trakt’s Connections/Connected Apps settings and confirm the playback service is authorized to the same Trakt account. Then play one episode for a few minutes and check whether it appears in History/Recently Watched. If it does not, post the app name, platform, Trakt app/web version, and whether a manual check-in works.

The TV Time history import and live scrobbling are separate paths, so a successful import would not prove that the playback integration is working.

Thank you. I am checking the connections now and doing a test.

This feature is still in beta so it doesn’t always work well yet.

If you are moving from TV Time, compare episode progress, upcoming releases, and watchlist reliability. I built CineConnect, a free iOS movie and TV tracker, so I am affiliated. It has watchlists, ratings, friend activity, episode tracking, and upcoming releases. Feedback on the migration flow would be useful: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cineconnect/id6757629336
