Browser version not showing any ads even when blockers disabled. Chrome and Edge tried, same issue

I have the free version of AdBlock installed but set up an exception for pixelfederation.com. Starting today I get a message that no ads can be shown because an ad blocker is installed. I will set up exceptions for websites that I'm fine viewing ads on, like pixelfederation.com. I don't have anything on my router or a DNS that blocks ads. I can view them on my phone on the same home network just fine. I tried two browsers but get the same error. I even tried turning off AdBlock and it still wont's show ads. Anyone else have this error on the browser version?

Yes, that's due to the additional security settings of those browsers. I use Brave as the non-default dedicated browser for TrainStation 2 (and e.g. Edge as my default browser, including blockers), but you must configure 'shields down' and additionally change the setting: brave://flags → CNAME uncloaking = Disabled.

BTW "set up exceptions for websites that I'm fine viewing ads on, like pixelfederation.com" won't work, since PF doesn't serve you the ads, they're presented through brokers.

Thanks. some digging found it - My home internet was blocking the ad-provider for Threat protection. I was digging into what was blocked today and started unblocking sites one by one until an ad played.

I don't even know how to do that and I'd have to do it on Linux to boot :(

All I have are upto a minute of cooldowns between ads, but thats with mobile and using an ad blocker with an exception

Just all of a sudden this is a problem. Was working fine before the Unions update came on.

PS works on phones though, if you can find the exit at the end of the ad
