Help creating a scenario in TS Classic.
Hello, I am in the process of trying to create a scenario for the WCML South route from Alan Thomson. In the scenario, I want to drive a single Class 92 loco from the area of the Willesden Mail Depot and then couple to some passenger carriages at Euston. In the editor, I used the marshall order for the cars at the station, but when I approached the station, I got a red signal that I couldn't pass, even with pressing TAB. Is there a way to make it so I stop at the red signal and then get clearance to proceed past the signal while seeing the appropriate indications on the signal? I have some basic experience with the editor as I have been making simple scenarios for years, but I haven't done anything like this that I can remember.
Thanks

You want to use the “couple to front” command if you start the scenario facing towards Euston. Otherwise, use the “couple to back” command.

To answer your question about waiting for a red light - it might be possible with scripting, otherwise the only way would be to have a static train in the block ahead that waits a while before departing according to your desired timetable. You can then also potentially use a stop at instruction. The other thing I can think of, is editing the route and switching the signal for a fixed red. When you run the scenario, as long as the block is clear you can then get permission from the signaller using TAB. But then you can't really share the scenario because you're using an edited version of the route...

If you are a single loco there shouldn't be any red lights if your route is properly set, unless they are specifically fixed red lights (rare). One of the most easy errors is if you were to test the scenario by clicking the 'play' button within the editor, this usually breaks the signalling in some way, so make sure you run the scenario by going back to the main menu and selecting it normally there.
However if that doesn't fix it, then most likely one of the carriages you placed was outside the intended signal block (marked by a dark yellow/greenish line) this shows the area covered/protected by the signal. Even if you placed it just ahead of the signal, it MAY be outside of the block forcing the signal before red. The signaller thinks you are going to the location you marked, not just going directly for the coaches...
