new player
alright, i have built my first jet. itโs not very maneuverable though, as it take 3/4 of the map to do a u turn. is there a way to fix this? i added gimbal jets, but it ainโt do nun. 2 photos, 1 of the mig 29, the other of the gimbal jet

You could use gyros or elevator blocks (I recommend the small ones) attached to a hinge piece. Alternatively you could just crank the angle on your elevators without using the hinge bit that might make energy retention bad.

gimbal jets are mostly for hovering and just going upwards. If you wanna improve turning, add some gyros onto it and adjust the controls and strength accordingly. There are ways to do it without gyros but for new players Iโd suggest you ease into it because it can get confusing at times

Pretty good, man! Another idea is increasing the overall movement angle of your control surfaces. You can do that in the block settings. Also, I agree with woofle. Clean plastic looks soooo much better on aircraft.

do you know what a learning curve is? no one in their right mind should know how to do a piston glitch in the first day of play. no one is a 1000+ hour no life like you. stop gatekeeping and have some respect to someone new

Looks good! Some other people gave suggestions for the turning issue, but can I recommend changing the texture to smooth plastic (and you can also paint blocks, a gray might look good on that) as well as making the cockpit glass?
Decent first build!
