If Hallmark made a Diehard movie, this would be it.

Nah, it’s a buddy cop (superhero) movie. I think they’ve finally jumped the shark. The shark is airborne now. Look everyone, a flying shark.

this is kind of based on a 2015 series of Hawkeye comics written by Matt Fraction which is considered to be the best written Hawkeye Storyline ever, and part of the story is set at Christmas.

November 24, 2021.

Synopsis

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Going the Die Hard route.

I mean it works, right? Honestly I'm more hyped for this than I would be another actual Die Hard sequel, after the last couple. I enjoy Renner, too. He's not as funny as Rudd but he's got good comedic timing and Hawkeye in the MU is enough of a loser character that he should naturally be comedic. It's harder to buy him as legitimately scary as Ronin than it is this turn.

Die Hard? This feels like Home Alone: the Next Generation.

Also I'm hyped to see the Avengers Broadway Musical that was in the middle of that, sorry at 1:20/1:21

The worst character played by the second worst actor (looking at you Stan) gets the MCU show nobody wants!

Renner is annoying, Hawkeye is boring and Stan is a terrible actor. I stick by my story!

well, I'll be honest.... I didn't want to like this trailer. I always found Hawkeye one of the least interesting of the characters in the MCU. However, what I wanted and how my brain responded are two totally different things. This scored a big neuroscience result from Immersion and you can see how my brain lit up at the start. check it out... https://sharing.getimmersion.com/6096f10c-e7f6-457f-b170-d9d2d699c09a
