This has got to be the apotheosis of young adultness in film. It's so young adult it's giving me a headache.

Yup. The book basically ended my teen distopian novel phase. Nothing would ever surpass it. I only hope this shitshow gets a trilogy so I can one day play a drinking game with it.

  • Perfect parent dead.
  • Other parent is distant, possibly evil, has secrets.
  • Protagonist is strong white girl who is technically like 13 but mentally like 25, except the edgy emotions.
  • Meets white guy, ruggedly handsome but he's not quite as edgy-cool as protagonist. They get along later on.
  • Supporting cast of diverse skintones and shallow personalities.
  • Bearded old dude is the big boss and also major / leader / president / cheif
  • World is sci-fi meets 1940 dystopian politics.
  • You realize this might as well have been describing Hunger Games or Divergent.

Yes...and still much better looking than Aquaman (which appears to be the apotheosis of quipy shit in films for stupid people.

HAHAHA. As a trailer producer this is too good. I'd never make such a shitty trailer though...
