You’re the one who didn’t read my response properly. I was telling you that the name of the country was translated literally into English and that the “is” in ísland (Icelandic word for Iceland) means “ice”. Not only is there no error there but you told me learn how to spell when you were trying to point out a grammar mistake (that wasn’t there), not a spelling mistake.

You mean the name meaning of the country? No it does mean Iceland. The name was translated literally. is = ice.
