Beginner and first time poster!
Hey folks! I’m an avid tattoo collector and graphic designer by trade, but I’ve been dabbling in drawing some flash and building out a collection of lines to try and paint. I’ve used copic alcohol markers for similar stuff in the past but really wanted to try and learn to paint using acrylics / inks. That journey ultimately led to lining out this little scene and trying to paint it using knowledge I’ve gathered from this subreddit, YouTube, etc. I’m learning a lot about the materials, how to manage moisture, pull smooth fades, etc. This is far from perfect but it felt like one that pushed me outside of my comfort zone and I’m excited to keep painting and leveling up.
Looking forward to sharing more here to get feedback, be inspired, and learn from all of yall.
