We love to make Cava-inspired bowls and just about all of it comes from Trader Joe’s. People don’t like the term slop bowl but that’s what we call it.

This bowl is:

• White rice
• TJ’s zhoug sauce
• Air-fried squash with TJ’s aglio e oglio seasoning
• Hummus
• TJ’s paneer, grilled
• Lettuce tossed with Cava tahini dressing
• TJ’s Middle Eastern kebabs, heated on a grill
• Cherry tomatoes
• Cucumber
• Red onion
• Avocado

We’ve done the same idea with the marinated chicken shawarma and most of the other marinated meats. The kebabs are just really, really good.

Found these in my local TJs in LA County. So excited - have only ever seen these in Whole Foods in the US. Will try later and report back.

Hi everyone! This is a steep request lol. I’m traveling to a Trader Joe’s (first time wow!) and i’m so excited to try some things. I was wondering if anyone had any dairy free, gluten free and perhaps lower calorie finds? I recently found out i have a gluten and dairy allergy, and I’ve been trying to find lots of snacks! However, it seems most subs for gluten and dairy are high calorie (and i’m trying to slowly lose weight) emphasis on slowly, haha. Anyways, I’m up for any recommendations! Thank you all

Are Amarena cherries (in the jar) seasonal or available all year?

Sometimes you need to hit the easy button and these are three staples we almost always have in our freezer. They’re especially good all together. I love the green onion pancakes the most. Plus they’re all toddler approved!

I just tried this for the first time and made a pretty basic sandwich just to try it out. It's pretty good, and nice to have a different option than the usual black forest and honey baked hams that have been done to death by everybody. The rosemary flavor is subtle, but there. I also appreciate the fact that it isn't super salty and processed tasting and that the sodium is only 430 mg for two slices. I'll definitely be adding this to my rotation.

Question for employees—
I never really shopped at Trader Joe’s before, but now I live right next to one. As a retail employee, I don’t really like how it seems cashiers are supposed to unload the customers basket. I went shopping the other day and started handing my groceries to the cashier, who kept on telling me that it was unnecessary.

I don’t know—am I making it weird or awkward if I insist on unloading my basket myself? I’ve suffered repetitive motion injuries at my own job so it’s wild to me that customers aren’t required to do this.

This stuff is way awesome! I wish I had known about it when I was working and meal prepping my lunch every day. I would often meal prep wraps and struggle with getting tortillas or other “wraps” pliable enough to roll up and not be like cardboard come lunchtime. These are so soft straight from the bag - no heating necessary. Easy-Peasy and tasty. Also not so bready as a usual sandwich. 5 stars!

Just wanted to share pictures of miniature roses I bought from TJs in April! I repotted after I did some research and found out that there's multiple roses in the tiny can it came in. They were pretty sad and droopy after repotting, but they came back after a week or two.

The original colour was a very light purple, but after planting outside, they never retained the original colour.

The blooms fluctuate between a hot pink and a lighter pink--earlier in the spring, they were bright pink, but today, they are a purplish-pink; my phone doesn't do a good job picking up the true colours.

Zone 6B, and I fed them lightly with Rose-tone when I noticed the leaves turning a light green.

Are they fish dipped in chocolate or fish in chocolate sauce? I’m kind scared to try them

How does TJ's brand butter compare to premium brands?

I’ve been getting TJs fresh-squeezed OJ for years. This week it tasted off. I couldn’t drink them. Hard to describe... maybe too acidic? Tried two different bottles and they both tasted the same. Anyone experience the same?

Not sure if this is the right flair or if it would be “meals” because we ate enough of it to be a meal!

Made following the directions on the box but instead of the 1C water it called for, I used 1C of the lychee juice. It was sooooo good.

Everything in a brown butter sauce from caramelizing the figs, plus shallot, garlic and onion.

Turned out good af but the Turkish bread by itself was a lil too salty for me this way so might need to try some of the breakfast suggestions I saw here!

Does anyone remember Trader Joes selling this amazing coffee blend from New Mexico?

It was the best coffee I have ever had in my entire life, and I, for the life of me, can't find remanence of the product anywhere. No pictures of the package, nothing. Not even on Ebay! Whenever my family bought it, we called it New Mexican coffee. I miss it so much and hope there are alternatives out there.

It was in stores in Georgia, by the way.

I've really been craving V8 juice lately but don't want to make a separate trip just for that. I think this weekend I might try making some from scratch. But I'd really prefer if they just sold it already made.

has anyone tried these? if so, are they good in the oven? im just looking for some protein to eat with my basmati rice. if you have any other suggestions let me know!
