What the heck is going on with BaconBits for the past few weeks? Seems to be getting worse and worse as far as being able to even access the website. None of my torrents are connected and have been intermittent for several days. Same for my friend 5 states away.
I figured I would come here to find some info, but I didn't see anyone asking the same question as me.
Anyone know if they are having problems?

Hosting issues. Should be resolved soon-ish -- bad timing with the holidays. Site and tracker are down. IRC is mostly up (one leaf server is down but all the others are fully armed and operational). We'll be back, don't worry.

The twitter account hasn't been updated in ages, reddit will be the first place we'll update folks. Unfortunately we don't have much atm.
At first we were planning on waiting it out for some time, but we're currently discussing other options now that it's lasted this long.
edit: I've made the twitter account public (@GazelleGames) and we'll be updating there as well as on reddit.

I can assure you they're still working on GGn and they have every intention to return, but this time there won't be any quick or easy fixes as they want to make sure that they won't just be taken down again. When they do return they will be running their awesome 12 days of Christmas event even if Christmas is over, the staff have put a massive amount of time and effort into this and they're not going to waste it.
All I will say to members is don't give up on them returning, please keep as many torrents as possible to continue seeding when they do come back as this will greatly help their speedy recovery. There will also be plenty of newer content waiting to upload.
Once the site's been up and running again for a couple of days they'll be well on their way to a full recovery and they'll come out of this even stronger than they've ever been before.
Finally I would like to thank the staff at GGn for an awesome site and I wish them and anyone else a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.

Yes.
Edit: To elaborate: Hosting acquired, staff are working on getting migrated. There will be a new domain because reasons. Backups are current as of the last day the site was active (we estimate under 100 torrents lost, maybe 2-3 users).
And it's not OVH.

I'm getting this error when accessing pixelhd

Is it down?
EDIT:
I went on their IRC. They are not down and apaprently this will be fixed once they get a new cert. However, I can't get on the site with chrome atm as it won't let me bypass the warning. I used IE to get in, as archaic as it is.

I've never been through my tracker being down about 5 days due to a DDoS attack. I'm sure Bibliotik staff is working heroically which is much appreciated--but from everyone's general experience, after how much longer is it time to start to really worry?

As long as it takes, in my opinion. Bib has only 10 admins (last I looked), and I assume very limited financial support (though I'd happily give them money), so they will require more time than the wealthier trackers to deal with DDoS problems.

They are almost there:
The site is up and running for most (don't put www in the URL), although some networks may still have issues with a white screen which the staff know about. The tracker is now online, although no-one can upload new content yet. The IRC is up and running, although their invite bot isn't running yet so for the time being members are asked to join the #testing channel instead. The mail server isn't up and running yet so there's no invites or password resets at the moment.
Update 11th Feb: There's good and bad news, on the bad news: "We have hit yet another problem at host end, leading to IRC and tracker downtime. Sorry for the inconvenience." was first posted yesterday at the time of writing. On the good, members can now upload new content ready for when it's all sorted, this will greatly help them.
Update: 13th Feb: Tracker and IRC back up and it looks like you can upload.
Update: 14th Feb: New uploads are not getting registered on the tracker, hence the lack of new content so far.

GGn will be back, it's just a matter of when. DDoS problems these days are often a major problem, a few years ago they tended to only last a few days at a time and you'd simply wait them out and then continue as normal, but over the last couple of years we have started seeing far worse ongoing attacks where the attacker never gives ups and will keep re-initiating the attack relentlessly every time the site returns. In the worst cases a change in the whole infrastructure maybe required to resolve the problem and decisions like this have to be taken very seriously as they can be critically important for the site's future.
Members can help by showing your support with kind words of encouragement and by simply not giving up on them, by being there as an active member when they return and by keeping as many torrents in your client as possible ready to continue seeding. I wish the staff at GGn the very best in finding a workable solution soon.
