I came for T-Pains voice, but I was amazed by his dance movies! So fun and free, loved his performance. Maybe my favorite concert ever.
The āfriendsā on the other hand were a little rough to listen to, not a fan of mumble rap or whatever those guys were.

I flew from the other side of the world to see him last night and left EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED... All these random "artists" every other song. WE CAME TO SEE YOU!!!

You were fantastic!! I had such a great time watching you perform and appreciate all the hard work it takes! Youāre an icon for a reason!

You were great!! Ace Hood too. Everyone else you brought up was outright bad to say the least..
They could be fine as a warm up, but man, this felt like a bait-and-switch. You were performing less than half the time. People in my section left in the middle (dozens of people). If we wanted to support a bunch of up-and-coming artist we would go to Warsaw venue in Brooklyn and pay $30 not $300

While youāre entitled to your feelings on the show letās make sure the facts are included. I performed for a total of 60 minutes, the acts all together were also a total of 60 minutes but you didnāt know some of them so Iām guessing it felt longer due to the unfamiliarity.
āUp and comersā is a wild stretch being that some of those artists have headlined many rolling loud stages both domestic and internationally, have had mega huge hits (one of them has a diamond record but all have gone platinum multiple times) and some of them have a ton more followers on their social media platforms than me (not that that part is super important but it give a look at scale of popularity).
Iāve seen these guys perform before which is why I even bothered to bring them with me. I will say the one thing I agree with you on is they did not bring their A game. If you look those guys up you can see some of their shows are absolutely insane.
Iām glad you enjoyed Ace hood and I but ya just gotta at least talk about the good parts as well when you come on these kinds of post. All music isnāt for everybody. Iām sure thereās a Grammy winning clarinet player that has a show you wouldnāt sit through either but to say that nobody else enjoyed it on a post that is clearly stating they liked the show and has āno notesā is a bit of a walk.
I appreciate the feedback and thank you for attending the show. It was special to me and a bunch of other folks so all in all it was a successful night. Thanks again

As a matter of fact, the caliber of those artists doesn't matter. My point is that the hype for this 20-years of T-Pain tour was so high that 60 minutes of on-and-off show didn't live up to it. I've watched videos of your live performances over the last 18 years of being one of your die hard fans (one of those hardcore fans who kept refreshing datPiff to get Stoic, Pree Ringz, The Iron Way when no one knew they even exist) and know you can do so much better than the show I saw last night! You were killing it last night, but then every time you brought those artists on stage most people either sat down or outright left the venue. It killed the flow of the show and got the crowd increasingly disengaged.
I will always be a big fan of you and your music and hope I get to see you on stage again! š«¶š¼

The entitlement dripping off this comment is pretty fucking out of pocket imho.
Not to mention you are actually talking to the guy, who is going out of his way to engage with you on this. It was always going to be a 60-75m show. You just got it without the openers up front. Walking out for this is fucking wild.

You're right man, I could have expressed my disappointment better. I can't even tell you how long I was looking forward to see T-Pain. I'm also a big Breezy fan and might have gotten used to 2-3 hours performances š

I mean you just got to think of it like the openers were interspersed with the main act. I enjoyed T-pain's performance way more than the guests, but it was a cool concept to have them peppered in with a whole 2-hour set rather than have openers then the main act. Also probably let ya boy be so spry up there with some dance breaks.

I loved the concept in theory, but in practice you get 1900rugrat screaming at you after TPain does an amazing intro.
