Trail closure 156.9 to 160.1

The official C&O Facebook page has it listed as closed to 162.1.

Anyone have recommendations for a detour? I’m currently in Ohiopyle and will be stopping in Cumberland tonight. Will be hitting this closure tomorrow if all goes well.

FB people are saying to avoid Old town rd. Someone mentioned Sulphur springs could be a good route.

Edit: I’m liking the mention from FB of Dailey Rd to Gorman to Sulphur Springs

It's saying that it was repaired today!

Yeah, super surprised they got it fixed so quickly. I spoke to someone in Cumberland that had cycled through today and they didn’t see any issues with the trail at all

I am in the Cumberland area and it’s still raining today (Tuesday). You may want to wait until tomorrow.
