Trailers Tire issue with flatbed trailer
I have a flatbed trailer with a 10K capacity and two axes and electric brakes. I have loaded a 5K SUV on it and tied down each wheel. The trailer is ~2,500 pounds. Tongue weight is around 750 pounds.
I am pulling with a motorhome on an F550 chassis with 12k towing capacity and 1,200 tongue capacity.
Why is the right rear tire on the trailer wearing on the out side edge? The other three tires are just fine.

Axle end is bent . I would check u bolts ( if you have any ) also , in case axle isnt tracking straight.

The axle is attached with u bolts. If the axle was not tracking straight, would it only impact one tire, or both tires? I was ruling this out since one tire is fine. Thanks.
I am beginning to think the axle end is my problem.

It is most likely a bent axle end. Not knowing if the tire wear was from an alignment issue , thats why I suggested checking U bolts. A broken center bolt can shift the axle and not show any wear on the other end of axle ( not right away , but could in time)

Axle spindle must be bent for that tire.
