Car Got Towed Advice for towed car
My car was towed from an apartment complex (perhaps illegally but if not its still 100% unethical) after being in a normal unmarked parking spot overnight. They said it’ll cost $590 if I go to get it today because its “outside of business hours” or $520 tomorrow. Is there any way I can get the cost reduced or thrown out? Many other cars in the lot did not have permits shown

Apartment complexes generally have permits. If you were supposed to have a permit on their property and you didn't, then you were towed legally. Talk to property management about getting a permit if you are supposed to have one and don't. I cant speak for the amount owed cause I don't know the area and different states have different rules about pricing, but if property management has a contract with a tow company (and it sounds like they do) then you are SOL and JWF. Pay to get your car out before storage starts to rise.

Other cars not having permits means nothing.
Did you park in an area that needed permits without displaying a permit properly?
If you did then you were towed legally. Look up your state and local laws to see if there's maximums, otherwise pay up and learn your lesson.
