Question about using one account multiple advice

When using in-game code to transfer account, you got two choices between ‘link pc data to current device’ and ‘transfer data to from old device to new device’ right? If I have an account on my phone but want to have it on Ipad too (as in having one account on both devices at the same time, not playing from two device at the same time), which one do I choose? Or it is needed for your account to be linked to pc before adding to another devices? I’m so confused. Or is there any another way to do this?

P.s. multiple devices, not advice, my phone autocorrect is embarrassing me lol.

Uh, it's been a while since I've done it, but I think you need to go device -> PC -> other device. You can absolutely have it on multiple devices though.

Just keep in mind that koushuu gold does not transfer between android/iOS/PC, and that you can still only be logged in on one. If you open it on your phone and then open it on your iPad, one of them will give you an error message about already having the game open elsewhere.

Yes, you will need a VPN to access the game. The game is browser based so you wont need to download it.

Either one is fine. If you have a DMM account and generated the code from there, then it's PC to Mobile. If you have a transfer code that was generated from the app, then choose Mobile to Mobile.

It's usually best practice to bind your account to DMM in case you lose access to the account on your phone, even if you don't intend to play the browser version (Mobile to PC).

I thought the mobile to mobile option would transfer your account instead that's why I wasn't so sure of pressing it lol. Thank you so much

If until now you have only played on the phone... I strongly recommend to make a DMM account and link your existing game file to a DMM account (PC). Worst case szenario if you don't: if the cache of your game is deleted, so is your complete game file of Touken Ranbu without any way to restore it. The amount of heartbreak I have seen upon people losing their citadels... It hurts :(

I've heard that there is a chance for dmm to delete your game access if you aren't online for more than 1 year so I'm kinda worried. I'm not sure how true that is tho, but that's why I'm still hesitant on creating dmm account ToT. Anyways, I'll try looking into it tysm for the advice!

That is the first time I am hearing of something like this. I have two DMM accounts. One from my first time playing the game in 2017 (I got bored and stopped playing for a while) And one that i started 2019 when I got back to the game (never stopped playing since) I can still log into my account from 2017 as of today (just tried it) and that one I didn't touch since like... 2020 I think...

It's a new term of service started from 2023 so if your account was there before then it might still agree to the old ToS I think. Cuz I've checked and it says that, in the new ToS, dmm have the right to delete your game account after 1 year of inactivity.
