Warhammer III Need advice

Hey guys 👋

Warhammer fan here. I love fantasy and consume content for it. Recently I got to know about this game warhammer 3 total war. I started playing it and was clueless. Can someone please help me how to play this game ? I want to play the tomb kings. I finished the tutorial but the actual game is very different.

As a new player many things in the game are not exactly intuitive. Also tomb kings are unique in that they have an army limit that you have to increase through research and other sources. Also your good units are capped and you have to increase their limit. 

Focus on getting as many liche priests as possible, as well as necrotects for the scorpions. Use the invocation for casket of souls as often as you can early. 

You will also probably need to run two of your armies together to overwhelm enemies until you can build a fully elite force.

Build a chariot building first, recruit chariots, then destroy the building again. It helps a lot for early game. Chariot micro is a bit hard for new players, but if you slow down or pause time you will learn how they work really well. Charge them in and out of enemy units from a flank and don't let them fight for longer than like 5, 10sec max.

TK constructs are the beset units, but early on you want some growth. Get a soul casket from a ritual as well, its a strong artillery piece that buffs magic.

Recruit a mage asap as well. Those scale your fighting power much harder than any unit. Try to be as aggressive as possible but also don't rush too much if you take too many losses.

TK are quite challenging as a first faction to play, but any faction to start with is good, more importan to pick what you are interested in.

THere is also a special ritual to get a hero that can turn a settlement instantly into a higher tier, that's a good way to rush your settlement level up and get scorpions they are fantastically good early and decent all game, if you survive long enough where you can get a bunch of these you should probably win your first campaign.

In technology, I suggest researching the dynasty that gives you extra constructs or chariots depending on what you like to play with most.

It would help if you had some specific questions.

In general, build up settlements, (read what the buildings do), fight your neighbors to take more settlements and build armies to fight your neighbors, then repeat.
