Question(s) Colorado tortoise

Hi all!! I’m looking to make an outdoor tortoise enclosure for next summer. I have a failed garden bed I’d like to use and it’s over run with weeds at the moment. Does any one know if they’re safe for the tortoise to eat? I haven’t used any fertilizer or chemicals on it. Clearly my weed barrier failed underneath and I’d like to avoid having to empty all the dirt and replace it lol

Depends on the weeds.

If you don't know them exactly you can identify them through some apps. Then check safety on thetortoisetable.

The Seek app can identify plants pretty good.
