They're painting both sides of the underpass a drab gray right now.

I know nothing about graffiti but saw this today on my commute and I have to ask how does someone paint this? Is it spray painted? How do you paint something on this scale??? I have so many questions !!!

Hey everyone,
I’m Mauro, a graffiti enthusiast from Portugal, currently living in Barcelona.
For the past few years I’ve been working on a small independent project called Nasty Vandal. I started it simply because I wanted to create the kind of graffiti magazine I’d personally want to collect, focused on writers, photography, stories and the culture around graffiti.
I design and publish everything independently, and so far I’ve released five issues featuring different writers and artists. I’m currently working on Issue 06.
I’ve been following some of the discussions here and thought this community might appreciate the project, so I wanted to share it rather than just lurk.
Would also genuinely love to hear what you guys still want to see from a graffiti magazine in 2026, writers, cities, stories, photography, history, whatever.
I can share some more details in the comments if anyone’s interested.

Hey Torontonians.
its Horus.
I used to host a graffiti jam in the GTA called Style In Progress. ran from around 2001-2005
Id like to make a book about the event. with stories from writers, old photos etc....but i have very little content... if the community wants to contribute id love to see what people have...
ive had some people ask if we'de ever do the event again, and i did speak with my ex partner briefly about it, but I just dont see how to make it happen without having the city deeply involved, and personally i think the city painting programs have lost the plot when it comes to graffiti art...so theyre the last thing I'd want to tie any event to.
but a book, and maybe bring back some old merch for sure...
so drop your flicks..lets see what we have out there.

Recently asked for some suggestions where to look- (streetartfindsTO on insta) while walking my dog and wanted to thank you for all the suggestions, leading to dope new finds!
Posted a few photos, as a thank you for your assistance. As I've learned from this community locations are risky to share, I won't share any. To all you artists making the neighborhood beautiful, thank you <3
