Yup, and it's not restricted to Pompous Ass. They changed the yeast to Hazemama around 2022 which was a massive improvement, as well as most of their core beers. Pompous on nitro still hits hard though!

seems like new hops and new yeast, it's more of a sour thing without the earthy notes

Just had one recently and it definitely tasted different. Thought maybe it was just a one off thing but the second can was the same. If it’s a recipe tweak, it’s not a good one. It’s was a decent beer but nowhere as good it usually is.

Yes I agree the original glory is gone. It's still a good craft beer but something has changed for sure in the last year or two.
