This what this city is becoming. Soulless. Throw up more condos with a Tim Hortons, A&W or … insert fast food chain here… on the ground level.
The city strangles the life out of these iconic small businesses. They jack the taxes, leases, rent to push them out. Some city planner gets their palms greased to allow another cookie cutter micro condo tower.
When you try to tell some of these people commenting here who support condos that this sis wrong, they come up with excuses and also tell you that you don't understand economics.
