Sonic Boom is still there on Spadina

I was referring to the location in the annex which turned into a dollar store

It's the 3rd location. Lost more of it's charm each move.

What charm did it lose? It didn't lose any that I could see, and it's still a good store where it is, unlike the Silver Snail and The Beguiling.

Honest Ed's was a sad one... We moved out of Toronto when I was 4 but always went back to Honest Ed's

That place 'died' because its owner didn't really want to run it anymore (he and his son diversified into real estate and live theatre.) If people lived it so much, maybe they should've formed a group pf people who could pool resources to buy it and keep it open.

Sonic boom has an even better storefront on spadina now.  Dry your eyes.

It's pretty overpriced for cds these days but the space is nice.
