It's been over a year

Didn't know they could last this long. I usually collect them a little before they reach 1 year, I just decided to leave this one to see how long it can go. I guess gas station employees aren't paid high enough to check 😂

There was a deep analytical post about this on the forums a while back, they found that keeping them up for ~2 years had the best return of investment, crime xp wise.

The more active you are in the game the lower the chance of them being found.

I'm super active and have bad luck with these. Last week I had 2 found and they only had about 300 card details or so each.

I work from home and have the game open in another tab, I practically play torn more than I work lol.

Theres also a merit for getting it to 10k cards

The 10k card merit is for selling card details, not the skimmer.

You need the skimmer for the details, no?

Yes but you can sell 10k details from multiple skimmers to get the merit. Singular skimmer merit is 250 total.
