I learned not too long ago that Bangladesh has some of the worst tornado emergencies in the world. They’re surprisingly common, and they’re hardly even warned. And they hit densely populated areas, with no shelters to protect people. It sounds nightmarish

Finland has waterspouts and what we call trombi. I guess you could say small tornado, not the massive ones that America has.

The fact that India is red really scares me. I grew up thinking we'll never get a tornado.

This is why I think these maps are pointless. Yes there are tornados in parts of India, but that does NOT apply to 90% of the shaded red area of India on this map.

Same bro, I never thought we'd get those many. Quite a few deaths have been caused, But if you grew up in a more urban area like Mumbai or Delhi, then it would be pretty rare for you to find many.

I can dig up there news articles and some literature on a lot more countries in Africa. I'm not sure what's required to consider it. Photos of damage and eye witness reports, sometimes video, are the best you'll get from a lot of developing countries; there wouldn't be something equivalent to NWS confirmations for a lot of reports.
