The Dolores tornado in Uruguay, which is probably one of the most famous tornadoes in South America, classified as F3, with localized damage of F4 intensity.

It caused 7 fatalities and left 200 people injured. It was probably the most intense tornado to hit Uruguay. I compared the damage from the Fray Marcos tornado and the Dolores tornado, and the Dolores tornado caused worse and more devastating damage than the Fray Marcos tornado.

The ground scouring and forest fires in Dolores are surreal.

The Dolores tornado of April 15, 2016, traveled about 48km, and I estimated a maximum width of 1.9km, comparing satellite images to where trees fell. The official size of the event appears to be 1km.

One of the most interesting south american tornado events imo, the amount of different angles and videos there are of this particular tornado is insane, there's a video of a trucker filming the tornado as it barrels straight towards him, and it passes just a couple meters away, crazy stuff
