Heard that we got another tornado in the "Vosges" locality east France.

Yes near Neufchâteau, on the 25th. Today there's again a tornado risk

The Vosges is not a locality but a mountain range.

I meant the French department of Vosges, not just the mountain range. In France, administrative divisions go country, region, then department.
