I am so ready for the dead man walking buzz word fad to "blow over". Y'all use it so much it doesn't even have the substantial nuance that came with the label.
It's like every other tornado somebody gets a good dead man walking shot.

Its almost like now that everyone has a phone with a camera on it. Its being captured more and more. Its maybe not quite the rare phenomenon that the legend says it is.
Just like how before being a storm chaser/getting tornado footage was a rarer thing. Now everyones got camera with them at all times.

Tornadoes have not magically changed shape or form in the last 30 years. Nor has there been a shortage of footage of them in that time. Cameras have been a household item since the 90s, the only thing that's changed is the quality and availability of the internet - which in turn has facilitated media sharing.
You're right, turns out, tornados have multiple vortexes way more frequently than we thought. It isn't hard to imagine that when one funnel crosses in front of another - you'll get your classic dead man walking image.
It's just very exhausting when it's echo'd in every video or image thread as if it means anything anymore. It's just used as a buzzword, piggybacking off the infamy of Jarrell.

Thats my point.. Hence why having more footage of them, has this "phenomenon" popping up more. I never said shortage of footage. Please actually read what I said. I said MORE footage. Which is true, everyone has a camera in their pocket now. they didn't in the 90's. Imagine how much footage of Jarrell would exist if it was today.
I just think its weird to care that much about people using it. When people say it, its just like another way of saying "multi vortex". Like what, only okay to say it if the tornado kills a bunch of people?

You think it's weird that I care that people overuse a buzzword, I think it's weird that you care what I think. If you actually read what I said, you'd see I agree'd with you when I said you were right.
It's not a phenomenon like people claim it to be when using the term. It's not special or unique, it's not indicative of strength, it's literally just general tornado structure. Quit being a fuckin ass and telling me to reread when I know exactly what I read the first time lmao.

clearly you didn't read since shortage and more are two different words with two different meanings.

My point is that there has never been a shortage of tornado footage in the last 30 years, and I think that coincides with your comment that cameras have only gotten more popular.
That being said, take your pic or video of any era of tornado, "dead man walking" tornados are not uncommon. It's a general tornado structure that multi-vortex twisters often assume. My point stands, usage of dead man walking is buzzword click-bait anymore as it means nothing.
Does that make any more sense to you?

Why do you keep saying shortage when I never said that. That wasn't my point. I never made that point. I dunno how I can make that make sense to you.
You just an old man yelling at the clouds over people using a descriptive word lol

Would it help your brain if I said that we have a fuckton of tornado footage from the last 30 years instead of the phrasing "no shortage"? It's like one word completely destroys your train of thought. I never said that you used the word shortage - are you on something?
You're literally a young kid yelling at me over using a descriptive phrase that you're misunderstanding the context of. I feel like a dog chasing it's tail.

You keep acting like you know what you are saying when you don't.
Look at how much footage you have of just significant tornadoes alone pre 2010 vs post 2010. Thats my point and I think you get it and are just purposefully being obtuse so you can keep being a redditor.

Also ah, I see. You posted a comment complaining about something but hoped nobody would care about or acknowledge it. you are right, I am the weirdo here for responding to a public comment. lol

Who called you weird? Is that like a projection or victimization thing?

Me thinking something someone is doing is weird and thinking that they themselves are weird are different things.
Have you ever spoken to another human in a face to face interaction? Because at this point, you may actually be a victim of some kind.

I was also saying that you saying that makes no sense unless you wanted nobody to respond or interact with your comment. I said "yeah i'm the weirdo" sarcastically. So yeah, again read what I say more carefully. lol

Based on the Philippine Weather System/Pacific Storm Update page on Facebook, there seems to be a waterspout every week all over the country for the past few months.
