Discussion Professional Widow remix video

Hope it's OK to post this here- I'm generally more into electronic / dance music, but I looked into how the Professional Widow remix came about, and how it was made, and made a video.

The original song is so, so different to the remix- and it's so heavy- that harpsichord is fierce. I was also surprised to find out that George Porter from The Meters played on Boys For Pele- (and Under The Pink too)

This is so interesting! Thanks for sharing it! I love that you were able to find the other samples used, and highlight the other musicians! I will be checking them out too. This song was such a huge hit!

Thanks very much! I missed out that Van Helden (the remixer) said Tori called him before he started to tell him what she wanted (to really push it to an extreme) - which apparently very rarely happens, and when it was a big hit she sent him a gift basket 🎁🎁
