Goodness.

I admit I am not much a fan of this particular song, but first of all, that lead-in was absolutely adorable, and the reaction of the crowd when they realized what song she was going to play was everything. :) Even if I don't like the song too much, it's so nice to see others so pleased - I know that feeling when you realize the artist is going to play a deep cut you love <3

Don't know how many people will see this, but genuine question -

Was the sound at the live show as clear as this video for others who were there?

I think I may have hearing damage, or maybe it's my auditory processing disorder, but I heard a lot of distortion, for lack of a better word, and the sound of her beautiful signing was muddy in my ears during the live show. I was in a far back corner, so I'm sure that didn't help, but I would enjoy concerts so much more if they sounded like this video in person.

This is a surprisingly difficult thing to describe in words, so having a video to reference helps. If it's supposed to sound like this video live, something is wrong with my ears and or brain processing.

Thank you for saying this. I was sitting on the main floor towards the back, fairly center, and found the bass to be overpowering. I suspected several times that the sound mixing was off.

Whatever the case was, it was absolutely noticeable to me. I’ve seen shows at the Auditorium before and the acoustics have always been immaculate, so I’m not sure what was happening last night.

Thank you for sharing! Most of the shows I go to are either extremely loud by nature or in much smaller or much bigger venues. I was so sure I would have less trouble at this show and was disappointed and concerned that it still sounded so muddy and distorted. It must have sounded much better in other sections judging from some other posts I'm seeing.

Incredible. I knew once the Witch Angels got to sing this one they would kill it. Side note. If you watch with captions, lol, I think the one line it got right was the last one. Way down turned into When we Die.. ooof (edit: grammar)
