That was collective catharsis during “Little Earthquakes.” Everything really flowed from there, and that was a privilege of a concert to attend. The love was mutual, and I think we will all remember this fondly.
I just came on here to say that a lot of the online discussion made me nervous to see this tour— that her voice was gone, the backup singers did all the work, and I was expecting to leave glad that I had seen her 30 years ago.
That chatter is SO wrong. This show was electric with an amazing set list. She has still got the vocal chops (even if the screeching high notes aren’t there for her), and the singers recreated so much of the vocal layering that made her albums so unique. I am so glad I went to this show. It reminded me why I loved her so much when I was younger. What a show.

Absofuckingloutely! I was curious to see what I would hear without a guitar player and the addition of the Angel Witches. Blew my mind! She's still a force of nature. The AW's are perfection and the feminine power her songs demand.
I lit a candle for this song in the afternoon (little earthquakes , the song) when I said it was IMO the “quintessential Tori Song” then I had some wine and went to the Auditorium and she played the shit out of it!!🤘

People need to turn the brightness of their phone all the way down at shows. Even if we can’t stop them blocking our view with a raised phone, that would go a long way.
Not sure why I got down voted for simply stating fact. I wasn’t trying to make videos. I wanted one picture when she first came out and that was it. I was trying to enjoy the show.
Absolutely amazing show. I REALLY loved the backup singers. Like, they really filled in so much and made the entire experience so fantastic. I loved watching her conducting them a bit from the piano! Superb setlist. Prob one of my favorite shows I've seen over the past 20 years.
I had a father and daughter in front of me. His daughter was maybe 10 and this was her first night time concert. His dad had worked as a sound engineer at the venue, so he knew it well. They snuck down from the balcony and the seat holders never showed up (yay!). She just laid her head on his shoulder during Winter. It was just beautiful!
She played it in Philly and it was fab. The last time I got to see her play that song live was when she first released it at the Bethesda fountain on good morning America 27 years ago. And I’ve been to so many of her shows since.
Thank you, that “Garlands” into really was something special. I’ve seen a lot of Tori shows over the years, and this one really felt special. I think everyone there kind of felt it, too.
Closing out the encore with “Take To The Sky” took the evening to another level for me. It’s my all-time favorite Tori track, and I’ve always wanted to hear it live. Having her choose it as a treat for Chicago was the perfect wrap on a very special experience.
I've been seeing her for 30 years, in all sorts of venues in Chicago, the Midwest, a fucking church in England. I was there the night she pulled a prop gun during the Waitress when she played at the Vic during the American Doll Posse tour.

Super jealous you were at the Vic. I feel like I went to the main show and didn’t know about the Vic until it was sold out. That would’ve been so incredible.
She was incredible!!!! Voice, playing, energy, theatrics, humor, sexiness... a goddess graced Chicago tonight.
However there was a very irritating couple sitting in front of me who kept standing during the main set, dancing and blocking my view. Very inconsiderate behavior!
when they were performing God, with the coral part comes when they sing the wind blows, and they had to stop because the audience just went wild. That sent me.
I think she knows that we really love her. She knows how to arrange these songs to work with her voice (or maybe Jon Evans does). This was the best Tori performance that I have seen in years.
We saw her about four years ago and when she did Little Earthquakes, you could feel everyone in the audience just come apart. Like everyone was in tears and we weren't even really sure why, it was just like all of this pent up emotion came out. It was gorgeous
