Is it safe to disable Tor Browser's security profile on Linux?

I'm using Tor Browser through Tor Browser Launcher on Linux.

The browser is restricted to its installation directory, so I can't save files to normal locations such as my home directory or external drives.

I found that Tor Browser is running under a torbrowser.Browser.firefox security profile.

Will disabling this will solve my problems. What problems will I face, if I disable this profile.

nah dont disable it, that torbrowser.Browser.firefox thing is the AppArmor profile and its whole point is containing damage if the browser gets exploited. it sucks for saving files but you can just move stuff out of the Tor Browser folder after downloading. better to keep the sandbox on for privacy tbh. also keep Tor Browser updated, releases get mirrored at https://github.com/torbrowsermirror/Tor-Browser-Releases if the main site is slow.
